Introducing a rare and exquisite timepiece from the golden age of watchmaking — a 9ct Gold Rolex Oyster Imperial, circa 1936. This stunning vintage watch is a testament to Rolex’s unparalleled craftsmanship and timeless elegance.
This is a 9ct Gold Rolex Oyster Imperial, from we believe somewhere around 1936. The date is derived from Oyster serials , but this isn’t guaranteed with the precious metal versions, so it could be as late as early 40’s.
The case, Ultra Prima movement, dial and glass are in great condition.
The dial is really smart, in white to champagne with some aging.
The crown shows signs of ‘Oyster Patent’ but this is worn, as you may expect of a watch this age. Although not tested, we are selling this watch as non-waterproof.
The watch is stamped inside case back. 9-375, Oyster Watch Co. RWC Ltd, With Glasgow import marks. See the pictures
The caseback has a small indent, which you may not be able see in the video or pictures.
The strap is new and is a spring fit. Please note the buckle isn’t gold.
The diameter is approx: 29mm excluding the crown. With the crown this is around 34mm
