9Ct Gold Sapphire & Diamond Halo Ring

The halo is one of my favourite settings, and this deep-blue sapphire wears it beautifully. An oval blue sapphire sits at the centre, claw-set and ringed by a floral-style halo of diamonds that lifts its presence without needing a wide band.

The slim, polished shank keeps all the attention where it belongs — on the stones — and the sapphire-and-diamond pairing sits happily next to both gold and white metals. It would make a beautiful alternative engagement ring, or a smart ring for everyday and occasion wear. As September's birthstone, the sapphire adds a personal note for an autumn birthday.
